A Journey Through the Qur'an
Group Qur'an Learning Plan
Journey through the Qur’an one passage at a time — understanding its meanings, reflecting on its guidance, and growing in your connection with the words of Allah.
Beginning with Surah Al-Fātiḥah, we are journeying through the first five ajzā’ of the Qur’an together, with a strong focus on understanding, tadabbur, and bringing what we learn into our lives.
What does Dhakirat Mean?
Dhākirat (ذاكرات) means “women who remember.”
It reflects women who are growing in their connection with Allah through the Qur’an — learning, reflecting, and remembering Him together.
That is the heart behind Dhākirat.
What We'll Do Together
Each week, we’ll slow down and spend time with the āyāt — not simply moving through the Qur’an, but seeking to understand and reflect on what Allah is teaching us.
Together, we’ll focus on:
- Understanding — exploring the meanings and lessons of the āyāt
- Tadabbur — reflecting on Allah’s words and how they speak to our lives
- Application — considering how what we learn can shape the way we think, respond, and live
- Recitation & Tajweed Support — students who read Qur’anic Arabic will have opportunities to recite, with additional audio guidance for common tajweed mistakes shared in our Telegram group.
“I’m so grateful for this course! I haven’t felt this connected to the Qur’an in years. I’m trying to tighten my routine and pray this journey continues to be deeply beneficial. May Allah bless you immensely, Ustadha!”

“It was an incredible class and truly engaging. Seriously, the one hour flew by! I noticed tadabbur is pushing me to think critically, which is an area I’ve always struggled with. I’m hoping this class will help me build that muscle, in shaa Allah. I genuinely enjoyed the class and I’m encouraging my sisters to register because it was very helpful to me, and I believe it will help other sisters too!”

Frequently Asked Questions
The class has already started. Is it too late to join?
Not at all. You can join us right where we are.
We’ve completed Surah Al-Fātiḥah and are currently studying Surah Al-Baqarah. When you enroll, you’ll have access to the previous class recordings, so you can revisit earlier lessons gradually at your own pace.
There’s no need to “catch up” before joining us live. Simply begin where we are and use the recordings as a resource as you continue your journey through the Qur’an with us.
Do I need to know how to read Qur’anic Arabic?
No. You do not need to know how to read Arabic to benefit from Dhākirat.
Our primary focus is understanding, tadabbur, and application. Sisters who are able to read Qur’anic Arabic will also have opportunities to recite and receive tajweed support.
What if I miss a live class?
Classes are recorded, so if you need to miss a session, you can watch the recording and continue learning with us.
Can I join at any time?
Yes, as long as there is space in the group. Dhākirat is intentionally kept small, with a maximum of 10 sisters, so that we can maintain an engaging and supportive learning environment.
